YUBI Handroll Bar is a Japanese restaurant by chef Reif Othman and 7 Management at 25 Jump Street in One Central. Handrolls are made to order at the counter, alongside sashimi, tempura and other small dishes. A large red lantern hangs over the open kitchen and curved counter, with stools placing diners close to the preparation.

The drinks list includes named sake, Japanese whiskies, wine, beer and cocktails. The venue opens daily from noon to 1am, with a separate Sake Hour offer advertised from 5pm to 8pm. Its music-led atmosphere continues from daytime dining into the evening.

Canary Beach is a beachfront restaurant and lounge at Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah. Its West Coast-inspired menu ranges from sushi, sashimi and taco maki to guacamole, gyozas and grilled dishes. The setting combines indoor dining with a planted waterfront terrace, shaded tables and beach sunbeds.

Cocktails, wine, sake and beer are available, and the official branch schedule runs daily from 11am to midnight. Families are welcome, although the venue notes that restrictions can apply on particular days. Weekday lunch and daily happy-hour offers have separate advertised windows from the overall opening hours.

Sutēki is a Japanese restaurant and bar on the first floor of Bay Marina at Dubai Harbour, next to Iris. Wagyu is the focus of the menu, with raw, cured, seared and grilled preparations. The dining room uses warm red walls, timber tables and sculptural lighting, with harbour views and a late-running bar.

Japanese whisky, sake and wine accompany the food. Dinner is served from Wednesday to Sunday, and the bar stays open later than the dining room. Smart-elegant dress is requested. The venue also offers part or full private hire for groups.

MEI is a Chinese and Japanese restaurant at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam in Madinat Jumeirah. The dining room combines deep red architectural details, patterned chairs and a backlit bar, creating a richly decorated setting for lunch, dinner and evening drinks. Its approach brings Chinese and Japanese cooking together in a single menu.

A dedicated cocktail list and a separate beverage menu sit alongside the food offering, and the venue accepts enquiries for private events. The location is on Jumeirah Street in Umm Suqeim 3, within the Mina A’Salam hotel.

Tezukuri is a Japanese hand-roll restaurant at The Courtyard by Opera Grand in Downtown Dubai. Its counter-led dining room centres on temaki made to order, alongside Japanese small plates. Warm timber, an open preparation counter and outdoor seating give diners a choice of settings.

Behind the restaurant, a separate listening bar pairs vinyl music with cocktails. The two spaces keep different hours: the restaurant serves weekday evenings and weekend lunches, while the listening bar runs later. Both are closed on Mondays. The dress code is smart casual to smart elegant.

Nobu sits on Level 24 of The Link at One&Only One Za’abeel, serving Japanese cuisine with Peruvian influences above the Dubai skyline. The menu brings together sushi, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature dishes and creations for this location. A sushi counter gives diners a close-up view of the chefs at work.
